Message from the Chairman
Welcome to our second MEA event!
Following the success of the first MENA event in Dubai last
year, we’re delighted to be able to hold this year’s event in
Abu Dhabi.
Due to popular request from you, our delegates, we’ve
changed the name slightly from MENA (Middle East and
North Africa) to MEA (Middle East and Africa), which
better defines not only you, our colleagues and delegates,
but also the main subject area of the conference.
This year’s conference looks at some of the important
topics facing our industry – cost containment, fraud and
travel risk management.
We have a look at cultural barriers and how, in the
incredibly diverse background of the countries of MEA,
this can effect all the players in the international travel and
health insurance world.
We also take a look at the aftermath of the Turkish/Syrian
earthquake disaster, plus the ongoing crisis in the region.
As always, there are great networking opportunities
to enjoy over the few days – that ITIC conferences have
become renowned for!
